The Everglades National Park is a 1.5 million acre wetlands making up most of the southern tip of Florida. It's home to a broad range of flora and fauna, most notably the Florida gators. There are only a few roads that give you any kind of access to the park, and these images are from those locations.
One of the great ways to appreciate the size and scale of the Florida Everglades is to take a fan boat ride. We had an awesome time during our 1 hour private ride with Tiger Tails which included a stop to their private island and habitat for rescued animals like snakes and alligators.
